Fire up the BBQ for dinner outside with friends and family. Enjoy your heated pool, hot tub, or lounge in one of the many seating areas poolside. There are 11 individual rooms and a 12th smaller bedroom off the dining room. The dining room doubles as bedroom #12's living space. This bedroom also makes use of the dining room bathroom.

There is one spot per room on-site. Spots are not assigned therefore parking is not guaranteed
On-street parking is also available.

The Spirit of Sofia values privacy, experience, and simplicity. As such, your stay will be unburdened by hotel lobbies and clunky check-ins/check-outs. Our “Minimal Staff Model” strives to maximize your feeling of seclusion and streamline some of the less-exciting parts of travel. The Spirit of Sophia is a charmer for sure! Everyone kept asking "how did you ever find this place". We loved hanging out by the pool, the bar outside, the back patio w/dining and the hot tub - best part is we all had our own comfortable stylish room (A+ on the bedding)! We also hired in a private chef, and while the kitchen is small - we made it work. Michael is a super host for a reason - fantastic communication and was responsive to one or two things needed while on property. The only suggestion is a larger communal fridge, and an ice machine would be amazing. Also, having a leaf blower on site to use (with the desert wind, gets messy quick). I wouldn't hesitate to book - you'll adore the Sophia! Thanks Michael 🙂

Booked this place for a team retreat and it was great! Everyone got their own bedroom/bathroom which was a plus. My team loved the decor and the set up of the place - super picturesque.Michael and his team was super responsive whenever there was an issue (WiFi bugging out, hot tub wasn’t filled all the way etc.)The only thing I had an issue with is that when we arrived there was someone taking photos of the unit, we were given no heads up and I was told there would be zero staff on site, made for a confusing beginning. Would definitely book again!

Spirit Of Sophia is special. Anyone would be very happy there. Michael granted me a discount to support my children's education company work retreat and if he hadn't, it would have been too costly. For what you get and how perfect it is, it can't disappoint!!! I wouldn't spend the $$$ to heat the pool and the only thing I'd say is that the charge for the heating of the pool (which we never used after all) wasn't disclosed until after all was signed sealed and paid for. I think extra charges should be mentioned in listing--- I might have missed it or perhaps they've now added it. It's an oasis and the rooms are brilliant! The management team who takes urgent calls (a woman names Bea) could not have been more amazing.

Michael was an amazing host. Super responsive and helpful with Palm Springs info. The villa looks like the photos. Super cute.The area and surroundings were beautiful and 5 mins walking distance to coffee, breakfast, downtown. 15 mins to hiking trail. Peaceful location and intimate to host a small to medium group. The hot tub and pool were warm and the outdoor fireplace was well used. Kitchen and eating area were separate and perfectly spacious for entertaining and not inside someone’s room. Almost every king bedroom had a chaise bed, big enough for a small human. We had a group of 20 adult women and fit perfectly. Would recommend for bachelorette/bachelor party, weekend getaway with friends or family.

I took 10 pickleball playing girlfriends to this lovely property for a girl's retreat. It was absolutely perfect for the respite we were seeking. Though we had planned to leave the property and adventure out into Palm Springs, the property was so lovely and fun, we left only once during our stay there.The various spaces within Sofia were unique and provided different experiences for us...from sitting around and floating in the pool, to enjoying meals on the pool deck, outdoor patio table and within the kitchen, the options were endless for an enjoyable experience. The decor throughout was simply charming and fun to say the least. I think the only thing that was a bit difficult for us was that the oven was inoperable and we were cooking on site all but one of our meals. However; Michael, warned us of this and made a mini oven available. I think too, I might recommend a garbage disposal and dishwasher when the property is upgraded at some point in the future.I will recommend Sofia!

I recently stayed at Michael’s Airbnb in Palm Springs and it was an absolute gem! The location was peaceful yet conveniently close to downtown. The interior was tastefully decorated and the outdoor space with a pool was a true oasis. The host was fantastic, and the cleanliness was impeccable. I highly recommend this Airbnb for a relaxing getaway in Palm Springs. Can't wait to return!

My husband and I stayed at the Spirit of Sofia with 19 other family members and we had a blast! The whole place is amazing, and just perfect for large group get togethers! The spacious rooms offer comfort and privacy while the well-designed common spaces, including the kitchen, pool area, and the backside fire pit and hot tub were great for interacting and entertaining the crowd! The layout is great and so is the vibe! Michael was very responsive, a good communicator, and overall an excellent host!

This was a great property and we had an amazing stay!! Went for a family reunion with extended family to celebrate our twin dads 70th birthdays. The location was great with everyone having their own rooms (and even some to spare), but then having the large outdoor shared space to all be together.The rooms each have a mini kitchen with helpful supplies and then there is also a main kitchen as well. Only complaint here was that there seemed to be mostly decaf coffee provided and we would have liked the option to have both caffeine and decaf.Shampoo , soap etc. were provided in the bathrooms which gave it that "hotel" feel. However because we were celebrating and there was so many of use we did accumulate a lot of trash, so we obviously had to pick up and take trash out. All I mean by this is that you kind of feel like you are in a hotel but not with ALL the amenities of a hotel. We paid extra for the pool to be heated which was totally worth it! The host was super helpful/responsive.

Excellent private boutique hotel experience. We had 13 adults and 3 kids and it was great - everyone had a comfortable room. Pool, hot tub and fire pit well kept. Great outdoor space for dining. All in all terrific.

The perfect compound for a large group. It offers both private and communal spaces in a quiet and handsomely appointed setting. Our host Michael and the onsite managers were terrific. Loved this place!

Fantastic setup with great room and everything you’ll need for a large group stay. Chiller is on the small side for a 12 bedroom place but that is really the only complaint. Super easy and quick check in procedure and Michael was great at communicating

We had a great time at this place! All the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Everyone in our group had a great time. My only note is that the fridge in the kitchen is small, so definitely plan on bringing extra coolers etc. if you’re bringing all your own f&b. Absolutely would stay here again, we had a blast.

This place is amazing. We rented this space for all our friends to stay at for our wedding and they all loved it. There's an onsite manager there to help with anything, but also keeps distance and privacy. The space has a great outdoor seating area that we used for dinner, that was really helpful. We are already taking about renting it again this summer.

What a cool place! I came with a big group and this layout was perfect! Felt like we had the ultimate accommodation set up four our group. Everyone got there own room, bathroom and little morning coffee set up in each room and the common areas were an added bonus. The team that runs the establishment was great too! Even the location was amazing, close to so many fun things. 5 stars across the bored!

We rented this Airbnb for a 21 person bachelorette party and it was perfect!! Not only was it a cool experience to have the entire place to ourselves (feels like a chic boutique motel) but all the rooms were decorated really cute with a modern/retro Palm Springs vibe. Everyone loved that they had their own room and space to relax, but could hang in the dinning /common area or by the pool to be with the rest of the group. The Airbnb had everything we needed in the kitchen: dishes & cups for 25+ people and a grill for us to bbq. I was also excited that they already supplied a few cute floaties for us to use. The location was great since we were only a 5 minute Uber to all the popular restaurants, bars and shops and walking distance to a few others. The best part of this experience was the customer service. Michael provided great details upon check-in and throughout our stay. There were a few hiccups (missing towels, etc,) but Michael was extremely responsive and addressed all questions and concerns immediately. I highly recommend booking this Airbnb for your next group gathering! You won’t regret it!

This was a real gem of a find. Michael was a very friendly, super responsive host and made everything easy. And the place itself is gorgeous. My friends and I had our own private resort in the middle of Palm Springs in an extremely convenient location for great restaurants, desert hikes, and amazing nightlife (when we wanted a break from pool parties and hot tub time). Highly, highly recommend.

Our stay at Spirit of Sofia was wonderful! As soon as we arrived I was so excited it looked amazing and exactly like the photos, but actually more spacious than I expected. The backdrop of the mountains and palm trees makes it even more beautiful. It’s a perfect place for a large group as everyone has their own private rooms and bathrooms, and then the common spaces are spacious and beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit and jacuzzi. We catered in dinners and used the grill for lunch by the pool. I’d definitely stay there again!
